I've asked it (with honest intentions) from Dzeko fans and Samaras fans and Isaksson fans and fans of many other individual players. What's the point? I mean I suppose I was fan of some players (while also being supporter of football team) when I was under 10. I remember having posters of Maradona, Ronald Koeman and van Basten alongside City heroes on bedroom wall. But I think these people are grown up men (I'm sincerely sorry if I had got that bit wrong) and I just don't get it. I'd love it if one day one of these people fully explained the whole thing to me as I just don't understand it.

He has been saying pretty much all of those things all along in every interview I've ever read. It's all been about 'finacial doping' etc .

This is the first time I can remember when he's actually talked about protecting City from debt.

Thus you will be a long way down the line for European aways, borderline whether you get a ticket for Wembley, and no chance of a European final.

It will take the best part of 10/15 years before you are even approaching the first tier of lngstanding ST holders, let alone those at the very top of the tree, whom you will never catch cos they will always attend more aways than you.

Last season, that would have come to around 250 points that someone could realistically have caught me - minus the 80 points I would have got for the 8 aways I went to. To put it into perspective, the first batch of FA Cup Final tickets sold down to about 3250 if I remember last season, and they even went lower than that, and every season ticket holder who wanted one (I think), got tickets for the semi.

The fear the club hope to instill is that you will fall behind, or you wont get an advantage by being on the platinum scheme, but it's bollocks. Those at the lower end of the points spectrum can't get away tickets, so apart from the 250 points extra for the league and cup games, its pretty futile, as nobody is going to catch the people ahead of them.

If you are at the bottom rung of the ladder, and want to get quick leg up above the 10000 or so who have got season tickets in the last 4 years, then fine, but i'm just highlighting that you won't catch those who are in pole position for the important games.

Not many really, and was done based on priority of the adults points. This is why its better to bump the kids points to not leave it down to a lottery, bearing in mind these arrangements are far from guaranteed for the next time we qualify for a final.

Definitely see your point, Hazard is very good, but just another player that will cut in off the flank. The problem with Bale though is that he'd cost at least £40M, Harry would make sure of it.
