I had a chat with my Rag kid before the game and stated that there would be at least 2 pen’s in this game due to the way the league was going and he dismissed it as we are so good. However, and after the games so far, he agrees that those decisions are rarely given unless you play for a certain club.

Going 1-0 up against a defensive counter attacking set up and then trying push on to get a second goal, sorry but we might have to think about that.

Why not slow it and keep the ball for a while. Just for a while. Do we have to constantly go for the jugular, leaving ourselves exposed to the counter, when we dont really need to.

Taking Fern off was a huge error, opened up the middle and Rodri was overwhelmed. Which isn't difficult to achieve as everybody knows. Playing Mahrez was another one, no effort when we lose the ball and Sterling as a central striker was another, he just isn't strong enough with his back to goal and can't finish anyway. Mendy is of course a permanent mistake.
