lol Got a new motor this week - can't bring myself to get it out of the garage I'm so terrified of the technology

When I got mine I turned every one of the gizmo’s off so I’m basically back to driving my first Mk 2 Escort!

Great car !

Likewise, except I'm still pining for my Mk 1 Cortina

Oh yes! Been looking for one to do up but the prices they ask are ridiculous. Had many good drives in my 16 Sports and Harrier but had an interesting ride in my RS when the rear brackets snapped on the back end at approx 50 mph across the Snake and the car did exactly the same over the pass.

Oh, back on topic. We were superb.

Bit too early for me. Mum had a Ford Anglia before getting a Mk 3 Cortina which I turned into my outdoor space when not being used.
