Ilkay Gundogan, the Premier League Player of the Month for January, is expecting he will see out his playing career at Manchester City.
Gundogan has played a major role during City's rise up the Premier League table, and last month the 30-year-old scored five goals in six league games to help his side take control of the title race.

the German midfielder, 30, has been named the Player of the Month for January after his five goals in six league games helped Pep Guardiola's side to charge to the top of the Premier League table with a 100 per cent record. Gundogan scored the opener at Stamford Bridge at the beginning of the month for a depleted squad, while his two goals at West Bromwich Albion in a 5-0 win were outstanding.
Gundogan beat off competition from players including John Stones, Jack Grealish and James Maddison, and becomes the fourth City player under Guardiola to win the Player of the Month award, after Sergio Aguero (three times), Raheem Sterling (twice) and Ilkay Gundogan.
With nine wins in all competitions for the month - itself a record in English football - City are comfortably the form team in the country and have built up an aura of supremacy while their rivals have struggled for consistency. Having been at the heart of their excellent run, Gundogan sees similarities to their title-winning teams as well as part of his time at former club Dortmund.

Annoying many times, but can't say anything less than: What a fucking pro he is.
And think he is also a leader and a very loved player in the squad. When he scores all the team is around him.

Not yet, but Neymar is out for a month with a groin injury.
Sure, Kev may be on his way back, but we have the CL fixtures coming up and given Kev hasn't played you have to figure he needs some games to be near his best.

I did read an article about him saying this
"However, Guardiola’s subsequent comments that Gundogan has been in such good form that he could win February’s Player of the Month award too, hinted that he perhaps doesn’t expect it to to be serious".
