Will Pep Go for the rags?

Postby Nick » Wed Mar 03, 2021 11:35 pm

Similar to the trust pep thread- we have seen more proof tonight on how piss poor the rags are.

We owe them one.

I think pep will know now that they are poor but still feel he will use it as some European mock game and be all bessy mates after showing too much respect.

Hope I'm wrong and we batter them. Come on city!

I hope we go all out, they are up for a hiding.
I think Pep knows this and we'll be looking to make a big statement this weekend.

Don’t think he cares what team is next. He will want to pick up the next W.

Pep won't go to Real Madrid, nor RB Leipzig. He won't go to Manure.

I think the next stage for him are either in Italy or the US on a club level, or at a national stage - Spain. But he have the perfect setup here at City, so he won't go until he have met all goals, including the chumps league.

Looks that way to me to.
He will send out a team that he thinks will win, the opposition this weekend just happens to be the Rags.

This is the thing, he's not got 30/40/50/60 years invested in the club that we grew up loving (& sometimes despairing at times lol).

As much as we want him to make a "fuck you rags" statement, he'll continue with his one game at a time narrative.

As much a great manager he is, I do get frustrated by his chill attitude.

I really hope we go all out, nothing left in the tank, double figures result so we can humiliate the cunts but also, then may be Tickle might not even figure in the match thread with his stuck record yeah but shit......

I'd like to see Pep really animated and foaming at the mouth for this one, take no fucking prisoners.

That's my worry though- we scraped parts of some of the games we made big changes. With the buffer in Europe and fact rags have mugged us off for over a year - why not fuckin hammer them?! He's not understood the derby since his first in the league Cup that we whimpered out in

And that 1st in the League Cup is the last time we've lost in that Cup and includes 2 semi final victories last year and this year against them so I think he's more than made up for that.

I'm of the generation where I hate them more than anyone and want them to lose to everyone including the dippers but for years it was our biggest game and we'd accept anything provided we beat them. It's gone full circle now.

Of course I hated it when we blew it against them in 2018 to win the league but would I swap that against the eventual 100 points- no way.

Let's stuff em
