'Dear MCFC

I wanted to register my disappointment at your decision to join the "ESL".

I have been a loyal supporter for more than 25 years. City have given me some incredible moments: I was at Wembley in '99, watched Keegan's side home and away in 01/02, and saw Aguero's goal in 2012. I have been to London for cup semi-finals and finals, seen us lift trophies and be relegated, and travelled to Bolton and Coventry and Sheffield for mid-week Division 1 games. I have seen us play Halifax pre-season, lose to Wigan, beat Barca and thump United.

I have caught taxis, coaches, trams, buses and trains, then missed trains and paid for hotels. I have driven literally thousands of miles. I have never really thought about what it has all cost.

With extreme sadness and regret, then, I must tell you that I will never watch you play in this "competition". Even though you are thinking only about money, I hope you will think about what that costs.

Sincerely,

DHTP'

This was actually the breaking point when they got this email. "Yeah, fuck, this has gone to far now lads. Let's pull the plug".
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?
