i'll be seething if sterling is made captain again next season. tbf, i'll be seething if he's still in the squad.

Don't the players vote for the captain under Pep? I can see Fern, Dias, De Bruyne being top 3, although I wouldnt's choose De B myself as he's a bit spiky

There needs to be a club captain (Fern) and an on-field one (Dias) as I don't think Fern will play in even half the games next season. Keep Sterling a million miles away from the job - he's proved this season he isn't up to it.

An accolade so rightfully placed on his noble brow! I'm gonna fan-girl just a moment here. He has so much strength and power, controls the pitch from the back, he's a fierce one. My absolute favourite moment was when they were forming the wall and Zinch was laid down behind, Dias looks, grabs him by the head and yoinks him a fair 4-5 inches over, like "There, now the feng shui flows"
This dude will literally man-handle you into the position he believes is best. So strategically minded, so influential for us both on the pitch and I imagine also in the locker room. We just play more confidently with him and Johnny at our back. That's Captain material right there

I wouldn't make him captain just yet, there's time for that. And no doubt he will make captain in the not too distant future.

I don't disbelieve Fernandinho will sign for another year and I am sure it'll be on the OS soon, before its on twatter.

But he will be lucky to play once a week if that, captain needs to be a regular starter and I think KDB struggles when it's been given to him, Gundogan and Bernardo are too much Mr nice guys.

Normally I would agree too soon after just one year, but he seems the obvious choice to me.
