Have to say I would have taken him at the time. Now I see what age and years of poncing around at half-pace in Spain and Italy have done to him - never in a million years

IMHO, it was yet another example of us making noises to panic rags. They don't call us noisy neighbours for nothing you know.

However, if he had have ended up here, I imagine he would be used as a late impact sub in games we were struggling to score in.

Which I'm sure wouldn't go down well with the ladyboy ego, and would probably end in tears.

I can't see Pep using him in any other way


And we rarely use subs, even after 3 games in 7 days.
