I always wondered what they did with the ones they didnt sell?
The official CL-branded ones were being sold at a discount in the club shop: I saw them in there the last time I went to a CL game (16/17 v Celtic). The unofficial ones are probably just melted down and recycled, or sold off super-cheap after a game. Ones that were selling at £3 each before the Wales v Bosnia friendly in 2012 were 3 for a fiver after the game. From what I understand, they cost next-to-nothing to produce (I'm talking literally a few pennies).

I am fairly sure that the Rag / Vermin half n half's are reused as toilet paper. Or a handy mopping item for vomit.
