Football at the top level as a sport that competes fairly is an illusion...Quite simply, it doesn't exist.
I stopped listening to pundits, usually turn the match commentary off and totally ignore the written media....the only way forward to keep what's left of my sanity and keep control of my anger.
My love of football went a long time ago and I believe that what we see is the only reality set by those who control the game for their own gain.
I retain my love and support for City because; judging by the actions of those who control the game and those in the media who saturate the sheeple with their incessant brainwashing and seem to operate to destroy my club, that we obviously reside outside that global cartel.
My pleasure following and watching City is not just the quality of our football, nor that we win most of our games and win titles but that whenever we do, we are beating the system imposed of our game by those who have stolen it from the people.
City winning the CL or Prem this season, or any of the recent seasons since we were bought by our owners and became a threat to the system, is not simply beating the Dippers, Chavs, Tarquins or rags domestically, or overcoming Bayern, Real, Barca or PSG etc in the CL. It is also City beating the system and showing that whatever they do or have done to stop us, we have overcome them.
Should we beat the Dippers in the CL final, we will have beaten notjust the dippers but the whole rotten system hell bent at stopping us.
Absolutely spot on as usual John you have summed up my opening post with accuracy if the dippers do the unthinkable thats me done will concentrate on match angling for the rest of my days
