Sorry this is late, I have been in London for a couple of days. It looks like I didn’t miss much from the away fans. Apparently Zaha hasn’t travelled, but isn’t listed as injured? At least according to the comments here. Both the Beeb and Sly have predicted a home win if that count

COME ON CITY!!!

Referee: Graham Scott
Assistants: Harry Lennard, Adrian Holmes
Fourth official: Darren Bond
VAR: Simon Hooper
Assistant VAR: Steve Meredith

Team Selection

Guaita

Ward Andersen Guehi Mitchell

Doucoure Eze Schlupp

Ayew Mateta Edouard

And the rest…

Tough fixture and while we have done so well their in the past, cannot realistically expect same result as last season.

No one will be expecting us to upset them again and I sadly feel our luck is going to run out for this one, it shouldn't be a big loss and I hope it's just by one goal but will probably be by two.

Following on from my predictions of 1-1 at Anfield and 3-1 against Villa, (Yeah smug b*stard &#128513… I'm unfortunately going with Monkey, 4-2! The heart is hoping for a 1-2.

Manchester City have only lost two of their past 54 league games kicking off at 15:00 on a Saturday - but both have come against Palace at Etihad Stadium…(From BBC Sport).

I think we will get stuffed this time. Season so far... Manchester City will try to put on a show, likely to score early and run away with it at the end. However, it is only one game, will not define our season and I will not be critical of anyone in the team after the game!!

I think if we keep the score to below 4 and get one ourselves we would have done ok. They will be ready for us this time after last year so we will have to perform twice as hard to achieve anything. COYP.

We should win fairly easily. Haaland completely overrated - we all know Mateta is twice the player. Eze will tear them a new one, can't even remember the names of any of their midfield. Journeymen dross no doubt.

Zaha hasn't travelled apparently.

Zaha out.

4-0 Man City win, Haaland x2, De Bryne and Cancelo with the goals.

Cheers CM

Love their pessimism and hopefully it will be proved.

Just win with no injuries. A PL goal for Alvarez would be nice to get him off the mark. And a solid defensive display with a clean sheet as well. But at 5pm if we have won the game then all is good

You've just made my day

I absolutely hate Zaha as a player. He is the epitome big fish little pond thinking he is owed more.

If he spent less time playing life's victim and applied himself he could have probably progressed further in his career.

Instead it's another transfer window where he is linked teams playing in Euro comps, the bookies must coin it in every year when he goes nowhere.

That said, Palace have been a thorn in ourside in recently. As NB says we owe them, let's hope it's today.

So the clean sheet went for a Burton but at 5pm we have the 3 points.

A lot to ponder over but a wins a win
