Everyone in the crowd around me was calling for Alvarez- nobody was asking for him to replace Haaland.
And you still think you were half right.
Only 1 comedy gold on here.

You still do not comprehend what a match thread is for do you .

Are you stupid ? Serious question ?

No- stupid is someone who would call for the best striker in the world to be substituted when we need to score.
I don't need to ask you that question, everyone knows the answer.

Good lad ,

The match thread is when we are all hyped up and most of us have a rant as it’s completely normal - other posters like the 2 idiots mentioned hardly ever get involved in the match thread unless OD sees a Baldie comment and then ,once he’s furiously finished knocking one out , he will attack the comment with glee - same with Stupot , takes comments made during the match as a post match smarmy “look at this
Cunt”

Anyway ,,,,,,,,

Never mind whether there's wifi in the stadium or not, why would anyone post to a match thread from a game?
I've never been tempted, even back in the day of watching Psycho's lot failing to score for five months

Posting to a match thread at halftime is a bit better than filming yourself at a match for a “vlog”. Fuckin embarrassing them lot.

Suppose so. It was a fag in the concourse in the good old days, now it's just read the programme as KOTK seems to have died the death.

Ahh what a memory. Sitting in the Kippax waiting for my mum and dad to bring food back at halftime and hearing the guy shout, “KING OF THE KIPPAX!” walking up and down the steps.

I still miss Maine Road.

Was it the warm, slighly-off beer, the urinal troughs or the dodgy alleyways? :D

Anyway trouble with all those publications was that there came a time when we already knew everything in them days before, what with the internet

I was only a kid, so having a kick about at halftime behind the Kippax, seeing Curly Watts and the “give it to bloody Gordon” guy, the club allowing the bars to stay open after the match so me and my brother could watch the players warming down and just generally mess about in the Kippax. Watching the players train at the school next to the ground before the match. That shitty scoreboard with the clapping hands that I thought was out of this world when we first got it  We got involved with the Junior Blues pantos and they did them next to the ground behind the club shop so we were at Maine Road every other Saturday for the match and then every Sunday for rehearsals. Was a brilliant time.

Curly Watts sat in the row in front of us about 3 seats to our left in the New Kippax, about 5 rows from the boxes at the top (season tickets)
