City Fined

Manchester City have been fined £260,000 by the Football Association for a pitch invasion at Etihad Stadium following their Premier League title win last season.

Everton were fined £300,000 last month for two pitch invasions during a Premier League match against Crystal Palace in May.

I’m confused how our fine has been calculated. £300k for two pitch invasions for Everton, but £260k for one for us? Is it buy one pitch invasion get the second at discount rate?

In fairness, most of that money was for the reconstruction of the villa keeper.

He pretty much had to be rebuilt from scratch.

Ask Gerrard. That's why he couldn't do his post match presser.

In the same story on the BBC website it also states the Villa keeper was assaulted. Funnily enough I’m sure no one was charged with assault and Villa released a statement straight after the match saying their keeper was fine, making Gerrard look like a tit.

Did Port Vale and other clubs whose fans celebrated on the pitch get fined?
