I’ve just lost a very close friend to cancer and lost my mum a few years back, it’s an awful thing, just stay strong Nick and be there for her. I hope she doesn’t suffer for a long time. The best way I can describe my experience is that the loss will leave a deep wound but it will heal and you’ll be left with just a scar.
