Doesn't bode well for our rivals if the service is poor, no?

Be some fun next season with Bellingham and Saka feeding him

Need to get back on the phone to the feeder clubs.

The correct answer is - Goater got 32 goals in 01/02

Huckerby was only a few behind him as well.
Great season that. You score 3, we'll score 4.

One of the best seasons for me because I was 16 and it’s the first time I’d seen City play attacking football. The signing of Ali B made it even better.

Did you not see the Brian Horton period, mate?
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

I had a feeling someone in that season may have.

What’s the record for us? Surely that’s well in reach.

Article from the BBC about how he compares. Not just with other players. "Haaland currently has more league goals on his own this season than nine of the teams in the Premier League. He is one away from matching Leeds' tally of 26 to make it a clean half."

Caught the very last year of Brian mate. My dad took me to Maine Road in his final season. Beagrie and Summerbee on the wings. Walsh, Rösler, Quinn upfront. Actually was decent to watch and I think that’s what turned me away from being a red and supporting City. If he’d taken me a year later it may have been a different story!

Was there that year and the subsequent nightmare years. Remember that 5-2 over Spurs we all lauded over and other? Talk about false dawns.

Yeah I was that 5-2 and also the Forest 3-3 game. Even though Forest equalised late on it was a class game. We beat Liverpool 2-1 at home as well - Gaudino scored. Those matches got me excited for City.

The next season we moved to the second tier of the Kippax and got a season ticket.

I know Saka is playing really well, Haaland hands down should be player of the season.

But, we all know, World class Rashford will pip them both.

When we play arsenal in the league I will be quite worried about saka up against our not very pacy left backs.

We must never go there with that mentality, let them worry about us. Let's not get ahead of ourselves, we need to beat Tottenham first. Our record is abysmal at theirs.

Yes indeed, the media have started to push the agenda already.
I heard Saka and Player of the Season mentioned today based on what he did at the WC and on Arsenal performances.

So what precisely have Rashford or Saka achieved this season?
Rashford is part of a team that have risen to the dizzy heights of fourth, have won nothing this season (yet), playing in a league and at a club he is familiar with.
Saka is part of a team that have won nothing this season (yet) and don't play in the CL, playing in a league and at a club he is familiar with.
Neither have set new records or raised the bar when compared with previous 'greats'.

Haaland has not just broken records, he has smashed them, playing in an unfamiliar league and at a new club he is unfamiliar with.
He has won nothing this season (yet), like Rashford and Saka, but he has set new records and standards for future strikers.

If a vote was taken now, after 20 games, Haaland should be Player of the Season. Hands down.
That might change but to suggest Rashford or Saka should be player of the season at this point in time is utter tripe.

Footnote: England did fuck all at the WC, came home early so what precisely did Saka do at the WC that deserves Player of the Season - more fucking nonsense.

Ake will sort him out.

So he'll probably play Gomez :D
