Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

I’ve decided to be calm for the rest of this season, but it’s not easy with City. The home fans seem to be a little bit confident this week, especially after the Forest game. I will relax only after they have had their one shot on target, assuming it doesn’t go in! Just get three points, that’s all I ask.

COME ON CITY!!!

Referee: Paul Tierney
Assistants: Constantine Hatzidakis, Neil Davies
Fourth official: Gavin Ward
VAR: Andy Madley
Assistant VAR: Gary Beswick

Team Selection

Neto; Smith, Stephens, Senesi, Zemura; Billing, Lerma; Ouattara, Traore, Tavernier; Solanke.

And the rest…

Actually think we can get something here, but only if we apply ourselves in the right way. Sticking every man behind the ball and not applying any pressure is definitely not going to do it.

Time we got our first prem point against city.

We're going to win. That is all.

I think Toronto John has it right. It seems like the lesser teams that have given City trouble over the years come out and just press the s*** out of them. They are probably the last team I would sit back and dare to carve us up. We gave Spurs like 40 corner kicks and you saw how that worked out.

Yeah they are rubbish. Who would want a striker who has scored over 25 goals already.
Just dull dull dull. Bring back Fletch I say, grit and endeavour are far more better than goals scored.

They’re not rubbish, they’re just a bit boring to watch considering how dominant of a team they are in my opinion. They used to be more exciting to watch.

I’m looking forward to seeing Haaland rather than what I have seen of him on TV.
For me he looks what you would want from a forward, height, power and speed, plus he knows how to finish. ‘Roy of the Rovers‘ in the modern game?

Fun fact! It's never taken a team 19 attempts to win their first match against another. The current record is held by AFC Bournemouth, who are winless in 18 attempts against Manchester City.

Blow to lose Tavernier again so it will be tougher for us going forward on the break…but at least we have some drop of optimism to take into the game….I just hope we give them a decent match and leave the pitch having given everything…Citeh probably are the best team overall in this league

Actually like their optimism.

Nice to see no negative oil comments etc, the optimism probably a result of poor performances against the likes of Everton and Forest. Hope this transmits to their team and they get over confident.

Refreshing when you don’t get sheep that just believe the media. Nothing against Bournemouth and I hope they stay up.
