Football regulator: UK government confirms new independent b

On BBC.

Interestingly, this is why the PL don't want it, and I quote

The league says it is "vital" a regulator does not lead to any "unintended consequences" that could affect its global appeal and success.

Basically saying they need to keep the rag and scouse hoards happy.

Little section of the bbc article entitled "Why was this move necessary?" and underneath is a big fuck off picture of City. Not mentioning that we are the only one of the top few clubs actually in favour of it. stone, you're an ugly, dwarfish, runway-dodging cunt. roan, you are a lying, kiddy-fiddling cunt.

And this is our national broadcaster that Brits are forced to pay for.

Bring on the independent regulator and independent commission. We will be utterly exonerated. And football will finally be free of the influence of the redshit. I welcome it.

The last paragraph is exactly why we won't see this happen

Yes, time to recognise a well run, solvent club and to evict anyone who runs up hundreds of millions in debt.

Go on Rishi, you can do it!

You'll all be cursing me later on when you go and make a coffee or char or even get your beer - when you start singing that song to yourselves .

An independent 'VAR and Ref' regulator is a more urgent requirement imo

Rag mate of mine, actually knows his stuff and is decent to have a football conversation with - lives in Preston so works as a scout for PNE and has a season ticket there.

“And now the prem has pushed for this regulator to stop the super league doing to them what the Prem did to the EFL along with the launch of sky sports”

Would love for a pundit to point this out.

Couldn’t agree more. The only thing I’m bothered about with the administration side of the sport is impartiality. And we simply haven’t had that for quite some time now

Wasn't sure where to put this, i guess possibly here,

From ManCityXtra on FB from Daily Telegaph

Pep Guardiola:

"If it’s a waste of time [from Newcastle], we will have a yellow card for Ederson, don’t worry. We are the team with the least waste of time in our careers, then the first time we go to Arsenal away and after 36 minutes we got a yellow card so don’t worry about wasting time. It depends on the referee, but I’m pretty sure the yellow will be for Ederson. How many thousand, million games do teams come to Etihad Stadium and waste time from the keepers? Twenty seconds every time – the goal-kick and long ball and long ball and long ball, and absolutely nothing happens. And after we go there [to Arsenal], we want to be active to play and we get a yellow card. And that is why I’m far away from comments about the referees because I don’t care one second. They can do whatever they want... Now we can’t talk about the Premier League or whatever. We are busy defending with our lawyers our defence. What is [the] authorities? I don’t talk with the Premier League, we are accused by them. No referees, no Premier League, no care."
