Of course he can improve but he’s got the basic ability, raw pace and you can’t coach that in. In that position Jack has to do far more with the ball. His ball retention and tracking back are excellent but it’s not enough. I don’t know what off field issues Jack is talking about ( the burglary obviously) but he has to do better next season if he’s to start many matches.

Seems enough for Pep, might not be enough for you. He does what Pep has told him to do, and he’s said that numerous times. Maybe your issue is with Pep’s instructions to him?

Every year the same shite questions from Sky on the pitch to Pep. “When will you leave?” They’re so desperate for him to fuck off.

No Pep has made the same point I made. He appreciates the ball retention and tracking back but wants more. Do you think he’d be averse to Grealish getting more goals and assists? He wants Doku to be aggressive with the ball in the right areas ie high up the pitch but not at the expense of constantly losing the ball. Opposite problem.

You’re comparing an out and out winger with the opposite type of player. Grealish is not and has never been a winger. It’s like Stones playing RB and asking “why’s he not booting it down the wing and crossing balls in like Walker?”
His game isn’t to run at people and skin them. He’s there to keep the ball, retain possession, bring others into the game, win free kicks, etc.

Hopefully he leaves this summer and Doku can start every match and we’ll see how many times he gets pulled at half time like at Forest

In my view Grealish is better having a full back playing outside him. Gives him more space. He still needs to try to go outside and not just constantly look to go inside. Too predictable.

If Kevin goes I am curious if Pep would want the argentinian midget.

”Hei Leo, listen, I need your for 1 year, you are rich as fuck, accept the minimum wage and come with me for one last year here. Also, you will be in the spotlight again for one last time and you can still show your absolute quality. Also, Manchester is lovely in January”.

Or something like that.

Doku dribbling after the match. LOL

Brilliant  I bet he didn’t realise there’d be a pitch invasion. I saw Haaland leg it off straight away.

I find Nunes celebrations cringe, waste of space hardly contributed this season and should be right at the back than centre stage. Our academy players were reserved in theirs and yet contributed more on the pitch.

Can anyone see him coming good, I'd love to be proven wrong?

City bus top parade at 7.30 on Sunday starting at the Football Museum win or lose on Saturday. Players want to get off for a few days holiday before showing for training with their European/ Copa America teams. Most will be involved one way or another.

Great video of Kevin’s crucial return to action. A priceless goal and assist for Oscar at St James Park.

Don't really give a shit if he celebrates, as long as he doesn't play.
However, despite all evidence to the contrary I suspect he'll do more than come good, mainly because Pep seems to have faith in him.
Really should start a what does he actually do thread while the goings good.

First sentence made me laugh out loud

I think Pep’s shown he has limited faith in him to be honest. He’s barely played and when he has it’s been against the bottom of the barrel. Coupled with the fact he was never Pep’s first, second or third choice and was more of a panic buy, I don’t think he’ll come good next season

In players like josko, doku and bobb you can see the improvement and development. Nunes just falls over the ball.

He just doesn’t fit in with City for me: All the players want to play for each other….he just doesn’t seem that way. There was a game where I think Rico miss placed a pass to him and he stood there throwing his arms around having a little tantrum. Just comes across as a smacked arse…..worryingly like that Paquetta and Gumeria (however you spell them). I don’t want either of those in this transfer window

Absolutely agree and I remember that moment where he gave it the primadona because the ball land at his feet. Also don't want La Paqueta anywhere near us, no idea who the other fella is.
