Standout Euro/Copa America Players

Postby nottsblue » Tue Jun 25, 2024 4:22 pm

Who, if anyone, has stood out this tournament that you think would be a useful addition to our squad?

Buying players on the back of international tournaments can be very risky but are there guys you've never heard of who you thought "they were tasty"

Someone like Wirtz for example is well known and is the kind we should already be scouting. But is there a LB or a DM for example that is worth a second look?

Alvarez looks tasty for Argentina.
Most likely we’ll be scouting an U-20 tournament so we can pick up a player that we never get to see play for us and gets sold in a few years (Perrone style).

Austrian left-back looked decent tonight (Prass?).

Alvarez has been class - shame pep treats him as an afterthought and plays him mostly where he’s not happy playing.

If I was him I’d ask for a transfer

Alvarez scored the first last night , but the headlines are about Mr. Messy.
