You mean like their 17 attempts on goal Kev?? Bellend

17 attempts but an expected goals of just 1.19, according to Opta with only 4 on target. So shit attempts, pot shots from distance, weak efforts. The "17" flatters to deceive. We put 7 of out 10 attempts on target. I'll take that percentage every time.

Some of the weak shots etc were from good positions. They had quite a few good chances.

The whole point of xG is that it is a definition of how good a chance is, not how good/poor the taker was. So at 1.19 xG, those chances were not that good...

Never understood these. What’s the criteria for classing a chance as “good”?

Frankly I don’t care what XG said. Just look at the match. They missed good chances. Could have been two up within a few minutes.

If a top team had the chances that west ham had then we would be clinging on for a draw.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

It really is difficult to claim that against other teams we may have lost, drawn etc. Each team and game is different.

Even though it grates to write it, You need only look at the scouse rags game yesterday. Almost everyone expected the rags to get tonked, yet the rags were all over scouse, even Fernandes waltz through their midfield and not just once.

It is a long way to go, city should not ease off until the league cannot be won.

Let's hope scouse have a dip(per) in form.
