We all want the best for city. But this season is awful, we were lucky to get away with that shit show today. I get the impression any really organized disciplined team are going to make it tough for us no matter what league they are in. The reason is, we have been sussed out. Teams know how to deal with our rigid system, keep it tight in deep midfield, tackle the fuck out of the midfield, have two players one wide one central who can run fast, win the ball and hoof it to one of these players, that’s it in on goal.
The manager will not change our style or round pegs in square hole selections, we have got away with it in the past with quality players on top of their game, sadly that is not the case now. Players off form, not fit or carrying injuries & some who have lost motivation, hope the new signings will bed in & we recover enough to get top four, then hopefully reset for next season.

Any news on Nico G? Sad that we seem to have another soft cunt. Could have done with the Neves lad that went to PSG for £60m in the summer.

Pep said he got kicked. Doesn’t sound like a long injury but the question is whether he can play on Tuesday.

Not great. Marmoush is also a worry. I have seen nothing from him. Sure, it is really early, just saying, is all.

One of those nutty online content creators yesterday described City's midfield as going from, 'Non-existent right now to one of the best in the world next season'. Or words to that effect. Sure, Gonzalez would do that. Rodri might, but, whatever. These blokes are in their bedrooms on spectacular psychedelic drugs. Of course, the others on the online 'get together' nodded as if The Football Oracle had spoken. Fucking madness.

We are in a position where getting back to 90% of our best looks like an Everest piled upon a K2. Cheers, Begeristain, fucking cheers.

I think Marmoush did alright yesterday, had a really good break on his own out of defence and held it up well until he laid it off to KDB. We should have done better on that break, years gone by it would have been a cert.

In the cold light of day and after my frustrations yesterday, our performances ultimately are down to Pep. A poor pitch against a battling physical cup side, surely we should have just keep things really simple and been more direct. They were always going to sit back as have a number of sides last season and this , Pep needed to figure out a different way of playing by now.

Stick the young Usbeckistan defender at right back, he has pace and heart he'll do better than Nunes. Let Grealish off the leash, let him wander
and let's shoot a bit more at distance instead of fucking about the 18 yard area
