The defender was entirely to blame?

You don't attach any whatsoever to the goalkeeper?

Gvardiol was not within 10 yds of the goal scorer,

About 75 yards when he received the ball

Foden, Silva not fired at all this season, is it time for a change. Don't know why our new Argentinian wonder kid can't start games like this

Don’t worry, Pep’ll soon beat the wonder out of him.

He’s already not starting Marmoush until he learns to just pass sideways and backwards.

Exactly. I don't understand this "we need players" thing.
When we needed players, he refused to buy them, now, he got a few in the winter and did they improve us tremendously?

Anyone thinks if we get Wirtz he will play with the same freedom from Leverkusen or he will become another side to side pass expert?

Exactly.
That is why Kevin is Kevin. Because his hot head kept him away from getting his creativity axed.

Dreadful watch for the majority of the game. Lazy defending and terrible goalkeeping cost the point. Wingers cutting inside every time first half when double marked and then not trying but ball across second. Bernardo offers nothing again, he seems to ignore Marmoush so many times when has a chance to play him through when he’s making runs. Noticed it away to arsenal and again today, holding onto ball, slow it down , side ways and no creativity. I think Bernardo falling off more than Gundo or any other player this season, painful to watch him fall so far from what he was and think best for all he in first batch to move on in summer, list that gets longer each week it seems

McAtee should be playing instead of Bernardo

If someone had told me that we would lose half of our next 30 games 30 games ago I would have called the police on them. There are some really shocking decisions being made, some totally inexplicable half hearted performances.
To me it's not about CL qualification any more, I just don't care and honestly I don't think we're good enough right now anyway. What matters for me over the next few weeks/months is seeing some sense, some fucking management. For example lets take Nico O'Reily, he's been around the first team for a while now, had a very good pre-season and has been used very sparingly ever since, but last week and yet another square peg in a round hole he's playing left back despite being an attacking midfielder, had a great game and scored two goals......his reward ? benched again. We have Macatee who is a great player in the making, but Pep doesn't seem to want to make him great, he has a great game, I think it was against Chelsea.....his reward ? benched again. And yet, time after time Bernie, Foden, De Bruyne, Gundogan, play and contribute next to nothing and keep getting picked. It's no wonder we are playing with no confidence, the players must see this and it must be be totally demoralising for the youngsters, just fucking play them Pep. I think there is definitely mileage in the idea that Pep is coaching the skill out of some players.....Foden, Haaland, Grealish to name but three and he has some new talent to work his magic on !!!
