Kevin stay or go?

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

How can we put up with these cunts who continuously play for their countries but cannot play more than one game for us without being fucking ‘injured’ ?!

I’d bench them and refuse to play them and then sell them.
Stones should be the first to be sold but baldy loves him so he’s going nowhere -

It stinks

He played 90 minutes yesterday vs Ukraine. Looked fit, his usual self.

So at this point it is quite clear that Pep lost most of the players.
So where do we go from here?

Because these players won us everything as much as did Pep. Their decisions in key moments. From Vinnie to Kevin.

We have a lot of problems that are well discussed and documented on here and everywhere else.
I do not believe Pep losing the players is one of them.
Now Pep has not had a good season by his standards and he deserves criticism where it is justly due, but losing the players, I personally do not see it at the moment.

There’s been some strange actions from the players this season. Dias laughing openly at Pep at full-time while Pep is trying to coach him was unusual and really pissed me off.

I can't see other explanations, pal.
Kevin looked mint yesterday. Look at his 90th minute pass. A beauty.

Mmm maybe he played well because he was well rested? Gundo has been poor for us but even he had a couple of good games so they can produce the odd good performance against the grain. it doesn't mean Pep has lost the dressing room.
Its hard to see how a manager who won a treble and completed a four in a row last May, then lost the faith of the players a few short months later. Unless something serious happened were not privy to, but that is unlikely because it would be leaked by now.

I think KDB is still class. We are better with him if we can get legs around him, plus international football is slower than the premier league.
He played the pass of the game v Brighton last minute, it’s criminal it was not converted.

Modric is 40, played well yesterday against France , when all the others did the work for him, like kovatic did. However he put a crappy pass to kovatic that brought about an immediate goal and equaliser for France who went on to win on penalties.

Kev is younger and should not be making such mistakes. He would be good to have around as well.

Pep has said the squad will be thickened up next season. There will certainly be incomings but I doubt there will be as many outgoings as some people predict. Kevin will have to decide whether he’s prepared to accept an impact role at a much reduced wage or not.

We shouldn’t be offering him anything until he retires from international football.

I doubt Kevin will retire from internationals before the World Cup unless Belgium fail to qualify. They look to have a relatively easy qualification group

Who fucking cares when one of our players plays well for their N team but miss loads of matches for the club that pays them enormous amount's.

I’m sick and tired of fans who say “ he deserves to decide himself what he wants to do “” !!

Fuck off !

As we won’t get anything for him when he leaves we might as well offer him 100 k a week GROSS and use him once or twice a month ( which is probably about the amount of times he already plays for us )

If he's fit and prepared to put a shift in, offer him another year at a much reduced basic wage but with performance incentives and use him as a back up. Do not keep him to the detriment of younger future players

I agree but we would be talking about at least a 50% pay cut.

It comes down to their family at that point. Kev dragging his kids out of school to move to Saudi…. I personally wouldn’t do it. But then again, will his kids have to work a day in their lives? Probably not
