ITV going on about us having no silverware this season now. Are we not playing in the CWC? Has that been cancelled now?

Maybe he deserved it? I love Grealish from outside looking in but he can also be painful. Didnt he fly off last week to see Rod Stewart on france shortly before we had a game or something?

What could a player possibly do to deserve being played, play well and then not play for weeks? This myth about him being on the piss constantly is very weird, we don't believe the media when they're lying about us but when they lie about one of players it must be true? Jack's given time off like the rest of the squad are and he's free to do what he wants.

Pep played him central and he did well. I'm sure Pep played him central in the hope he'd fail so he could do his usual "I told you so" pointing to the board during the game. It didn't work and Grealish played well so we didn't see him after that.

Grealish is one of the best midfielders in the country and was instrumental in our treble winning season, how you could not capitalise on that as a coach is beyond me, and he hasn’t. If he’s a raging alcoholic which I doubt very much, then ok. My observations tell me that we play better when he’s on the pitch especially in the middle when he’s not forced to play out of position.

Pep thought Grealish was good enough to start every round before today...

Whatever 'it' is, it'll be in a book in a few years time. For now, for me, it is the worst example of man-management I can think of.

Grealish is plenty good enough. We don’t have a god given right to win every game we play….obviously, but I would say that the least we should expect is the utmost effort from our players and management to attempt to win games. Sadly, those expectations have not been met and questions have to be asked as to why not ? It’s been an appalling season, I feel as if I’ve been watching the same game over and over again and it happened again today. I’m used to watching us winning again and again, thus you don’t change things. Now, we’re losing again and again so now I expect things to change and they’re not. That’s down to management for the most part, of course the players have to take some of the blame too. Dreadful game and the management of it, just dreadful and a £100 million brilliant midfielder on the bench when we were crying out for some inspiration. Pep can fuck off as far as I’m concerned and now.

Pep tossed up our season. I'm sure you'll keep blaming the players and never Pep's management. Why are we paying him 25m if it's all down to the players? He bought and selected them afterall. If we win, it's thanks to him and if lose its the players fault? There is a difference between having a bad season and being atrocious.

Pep, goodbye. It's been fun but you're beyond shit now. He's nowhere near as clever as he thinks he is and is now acting to the detriment of the club. His time has been and now it's someone else's time.

It was real all right. Getting sick and tired of the same game on repeat. One of the lads called it yesterday, Pep is too loyal to players who he trusts and the club need to step in. Bernie, KDB yesterday as examples. Club has done it with KDB. There should be a few more shown the door in the coming months. Its going to be a big summer if we want to challenge again

Yesterday we played with a CB as a RB, with an AMC as a LB, with a AMR as a DM and a ST as a AMC.
It's not the players. They are not the problem.

Absolutely this. Said the same this morning, first trophy in their history old boys in tears etc. Doesn't stop us from hurting as we want to win everything we play for but we've been there. Stay classy.

The problem for me is that we need to learn from performances like this but recent history is telling us we aren't going to. I don't think I can hack another season of utter dross.
