Yeah.
He looked at De Bruyne and said they took all the flair out of him!

Then he looked at Grealish Foden Doku and watched clips of us passing sideways and backwards on a seemingly endless loop

Foden was PFA Player of the Year last year. Scoring from outside the box at the Bernabéu, at home to utd and then the first v West Ham on the last day!

The thing that drives fans mad about Doku is his end product, not his dribbling skills.
Doku made a season-high eight take-ons against Trent Alexander-Arnold. So hardly 'sucking the life out of him!'

Grealish has just become too safe and has ultimately lost his place, although I'd have played him in the last few weeks as he gives us so much more control.
However, I think his main contributing factors have been off the pitch not on it.

Taking on Alexander Arnold is not a tough ask. None of our wingers have been productive enough this season. If its not 100% nailed on , they don't risk anything so will pass it back. Possession and control of football is what is being drilled into them. Last weeks game was much better because they risked more to get the goals.

I pretty much agree but I don't think it's drilled into them as much as we think.
I actually think they have to learn when and when not to do it. Mahrez was a master, as was Sterling.

Attacking wingers and forwards should be allowed to express themselves much more .....Its all about having cover if they lose the ball.

Cant the fucking coaches sort this out once and for all ? if they think this pass sideways and backwards is pleasing anyone then they are deluding themselves.
Any cunt can pass backwards and sideways...you only had to have seen that fat cunt playing for Manure the other night....backwards and sideways all game !!! What annoys me and most fans is the fact that we have the players to do much more but ,as has been said ,our wank coaches drill the ' do not lose the ball at any cost' into everyone's head...and it shows.

Its BS football and its boring and there is no need as we have enough talent to not do it.

This.

PeP has FUCKED up more flair players than any other manager I can think of - its not an exaggeration either.

Just wondering, in your world has Pep ever done anything correct? Even once?

He has obviously done plenty good over the years but hes paid 25 million a year to fucking do correct things isn't he !! are we supposed to thank him and lick his arse when he gets it right ? hes paid handsomely to get it right ffs !!
Like anything and anyone in any business , you are going to focus on the downfalls and touch on areas that need improvement.......after this seasons shit fest there is plenty for pep to improve on as he has gone backwards and his football has gone backwards as well.

Next season he CANNOT manage as shit as he has done this season.....if he starts the new season with no managerial mindset change then I want him sacked.

Cannot go another season like this one.

If scouse cough up 125 mill for Wirtz, good luck to them , he isn't worth half as much.

He is a good player, but not a replacement for kdb.

If we make scouse pay 125 mill , like we made the rags cough up for pogba and tranny . That's great.

The sheer physicality of the PL will knock Wirtz All over the place.

I bet they were laughing all the way to the bank when paid 45 and 55m for Phillip's and Nunes. If Grealish is worth 100m, I'm sure Wirtz is worth over 100m?

Based on what we saw from Phillips and Nunes at their former clubs, i was ok with them being squad players. What we did not know was that on arrival here, neither were even at that level. Grealish was proven in english football. Wirtz is yet to experience it. Not suggesting he is not the real deal but we've walked away so let's see who we end up with. That scruffy twat from forest would be half the price of Wirtz and would do a great job alongside rodders. We'll see

To be fair, Phillips had a half decent 6 months for Leeds and Nunes......Wolves fans were happy to see him go. Says it all.

I’d suggest no. The Bundesliga really isn’t as competitive as the PL

But that leads to a further question of will we ever see a fully fit and firing Phil again?

And sadly my answer is also no, I don’t think so

Carl ,Carl, Carl .... CARL are you listening ? It is all about having cover , whoever loses the ball ! i would say , most of the time all the players are looking for that defense splitting pass, but the cover must be there too.

It is all about , when to play it and more importantly having control of the ball to play it. Of course, there will always be exceptions ( Dokus fumble and then sublime cross for Nunes to score).

This season , for whatever reasons our ball control has been pretty shoddy. Perhaps , sometimes the opposition don't cut the grass enough, but City have been
poor in passing. Even Gvardiol, even though he is generally one of the best in defence , is susceptible to a serious brain fart as on Tuesday.

However, i do agree, more work is needed on our wingers.

It has gone so far now , that Haarland pulls up to wait on the penalty spot because Doku doesn't deliver and today , what did he do ? put the ball on across the five yard box and Erling pulled back. Other times , other players he would have been in for the "Tap in "
"Well I'll go to the foot of our stairs."

Saw him last night, what a little cunt he is. Entitled little shit.

Had a few encounters with Bernie after Bern body-checked him when no one was watching.
