I was in the Cantabrian Mountains doing a Geology study for my degree and we were camping in a little village called Sena De Luna and they had a little hut on the campsite which served coffee and cider and beer etc and I turned round to look at the tv and there was a huge amount of flowers outside the gates at Maine Road. It was all in Spanish and then it suddenly dawned on me what had happened. A huge shock, a great player and a tragic loss to the football world. I hope you are resting in peace sunshine. X

I was educating my lad at half time tonight who died a year before he was born.

Such hope he would be back the following season, something I guess we'll never know had he lived RIP MVF.

I think I saw it live, couldn't understand what was happening.
What is still with me to this day was that France was playing next and at the anthems many of them were crying their eyes out.
Emotional scenes.

RIP Big Man.

That season it was out of him and Distin on the back of my shirt. Went for Distin and what a cunt he turned out to be.

Foè was my favourite player that season. The newspaper that printed the picture of him dead on the pitch was disgusting. And some of you still buy into the media nonsense.
