Incredible the way people can take something like this and say it has racist/nazi undertones, that the norwegian kit is racist etc. World's gone fucking mad, if you can't be proud of your country during a world cup, when the fuck are you supposed to.

The woke/lefty brigade were given a platform to spew their ‘I’m offended by everything’ rhetoric and are allowed to succeed.
That is EXACTLY why we are where we are in today’s world.
I’m supporting Curaçao and Haiti. (And that’s if I can actually drag myself to watch a game )

According to critics, the "brutal and terrifying" marketing strategy goes too far.
Among them is columnist Janne Stigen Drangsholt, who argued to Aftenposten that the campaign creates a "toxic guttastemning (boyish atmosphere)" that feels out of step for a nation typically known for peace mediation. "You get a kind of masculinity aesthetic and a slightly toxic boyish vibe. They could have come up with something better," she stated.
Markus Slettholm, a commentator for Morgenbladet, also blasted the aesthetic as chauvinistic and exclusionary.
VG commentator Hans Petter Sjøli has strongly advocated for "getting the Viking out of football."
Speaking to NRK, Sjøli explained that the motif is worn out and has already been used a hundred times before. “It's getting a little too loud and Disney-like for us Norwegians," he said. "I think the image of football should be down to earth, like Norwegians are—a bit cautious, decent people who put on their finery when about to experience big things.”
Meanwhile, researcher Jane Haug Skjoldli expressed her concerns to Klassekampen about the campaign's hyper-masculine undertones. She warned that pairing ancient Norse elements with a "hyper-masculine idealisation" of the national team is "unfortunate and typical of neo-Nazi and fascist symbolic language."
