If Whitney Houston was a footballer- comebacks ?

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

If Whitney Houston was a footballer- comebacks ?

Postby eastlands-lostboy » Wed Apr 14, 2010 1:36 pm

Is she like Vierra ? Percieved as quite cool, but lost the plot, commanding, but really lost their Mojo, been it, done it, seen it, ....been good, but not now, done it, yes but not any more, seen it, yes but very blurred memories of the top class performances they used to be capable of. Who is your comeback kid ?

When did Vieira "lost the plot"?? By winning Serie A every season he was there? Fun fact, for past fourteen years the side Patrick Vieira has represented has never finished lower than second. So I don't quite understand what are those depths he is coming back from.

Don't believe all the crap you read here.

Oh, and Whitney Houston is and was always fucking pap.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Good. Like I said earlier, my memory seems to be worsening by the day.

My thread was supposed to be a light hearted anology of past superstars who are starting to lose there "reputation" Vierra is no way the player he was and other Prem players know it. He does not do it for me at all...he has lost his Mojo and that is plain to see. Midfield enforcer my arse....not scary at all !

Whitney Houston is surely more of an Adrian Mutu.

Or maybe former Nottingham Forest defender Gary Charles in a bad wig.

Steve Coppell - George Michael. Both had problems with 'careless whispers' in toilet.

Sir Baconface (Michael Jackson) - Both defied the critics by playing with kids and getting away with it (joke disclaimer)
