John

Don't worry mate I was fully versed in the successes and values of City by my grandad from when I can remember. He was born near the old wireworks/gasworks of Bradford (Mcr!) and had spent his whole life following us. He died not long after taking me to Wembley in 1981 and my "life of blue turmoil" has never been a regret as it has always been synonymous with a lovely old man sitting me on his knee and telling me about Trautmann, Swift, Bell, Lee and Summerbee.

City, for me, is wrapped up with such a deep emotional bond to my closest family. Its been character building and, despite the tribulations, it has always been fun (in sometimes strange and perverse ways). But City is me....kid, son, grandson, teenager, adult and I hope one day father.

I'd love some success but I wouldn't give up being blue for anything

Ant, I never ever doubted your integrity as a City fan Mate. Nor would I ever. I was merely counterbalancing your detail of let downs against the larger success.
This won't be an issue in ther near future as we rack up success after success...:-)

I still think the World of you...even though you're a miserable git!....:-)

It wouldn't be beyond the bounds of possibility for Spuds to get a draw tonight, lose at Burnley whilst we win at WHam.

Well, a draw tonight, a draw on the weekend and Spurs losing to Burnley works too.

i agree. i hate that they've complicated this bullshit by forcing the teams to play all their fixtures before decides who's best. It seem so provincial and old-fashioned.

also, this. COME ON CITY!!
