I don't know if this has been mentioned anywhere but I thought that should have been a red as the Ref obviously saw and gave the yellow. Could have given us a bit of an advantage.

At the time at the ground I said to my brother "He's just stamped on there!" But when he was given a yellow I thought I might have just been looking through blue tints.

I agree that they deserved their win based on the their 2nd half performance but would it have been the same if Hudd was sent off.

Perhaps not but I'm going to try and avoid even thinking about it. Fact is Spuds won it and what could've happened in some parallel universe unfortuantely carries no meaning. Other than to make me extra bitter about result.

Think it also shows that they were more desperate for it than we were - they had a "win at all cost" mentality and they set out to complete a job. We must learn and fuclin fast

Said it should have been red when I saw the stamp Ade got a 3 match ban early this season for a ref missing the same thing! Yet when the ref saw it in a match he got a yellow?? In reality that decision could have turned the match. Now we will never know..

Shortly after he was booked he also got away with a deliberate handball on the half way line. Surely another yellow card for that offence? Assou-Ekoto got booked for a 'less deliberate' hand ball 10 minutes later.

Ref bottled it knowing he'd have to send Huddlestone off?

And if you compare this to Ade's last sending off (can't remember where it was) when he just put up his arm to fend off the defender
who was harrassing him, then you can clearly see the double standards applied to our team. Whether it would have turned the match or not, we'll never know as you said but at least it helps me vent my frustration a bit.
