Thanks City

I've just renewed my South Stand Season Card for next season - I e-mailed the club yesterday to say that I'm off to Afghan next month and won't be able to get to any games until November so they've discounted my S/C by £130.

They're not all bad in that ticket office!

I don't know if it'll be de-activated until November to be honest. I normally go with family; if it is enabled and is going free, I'll ask my brother to put it on here

Very pleased mate, didn't expect it and was going to buy the S/C anyway, which I made clear. Just a nice gesture from them

I would imagine that your card will be de-activated and your seat will be on open sale for the games that you are missing until you get back in november. I also renewed cards in the south stand yesterday and was expecting to be on the phone for ages but was surprised to get through straight away.
Well done City, the act is getting together.

No doubt gonna be de-activated since they gave you a partial refund. Otherwise everybody would be doing it lol.

They didn't, no. Why would they do that? Would be a bit harsh wouldn't it?? I'd rather pay the extra £130

I'm in the military mate (alright then, the RAF). Opinions on ops, such as Afghan, are rarely taken into consideration before you go out there

After filling out the recent survey and slagging off the ticket office for lying to me about relocating last year, I went and renewed my ticket at the ground yesterday, and I have to say the lady at the desk couldnt have been more polite, friendly and helpful.

Yeah perhaps Mr Cook has achieved a seismic shift in customer service because I rang up yesterday to ask whether I could swap my seat with another family member and they did it without an issue - I was half expecting them to say "..Sorry you'll have to renew your seat first then join the waiting list to go through the usual relocation procedure.." but no, they did it for me there and then! Pleasantly surprised I can tell you!

City are generally more helpful than they used to be - but I'm yet to have one problem myself that wasn't outside of their control. I e-mailed the Club twice last season and got replies within one working day.

I know they've got a customer base who are unlikely to go elsewhere but polite, friendly and helpful service is a reasonable expectation.
