just been watching the player rewiews of him. it's ashame that he isnt good enough for the first team. very professional, works hard, never complains, and seems a nice guy. and that goal against wolves..not played for months and comes up with a goal like that is not bad. and his smile on his face after he scored, is one of my highlights of last season.

I always think he should be tested as a left winger in front of the left back but it never seems to happen

Lovely fella apparently, sadly nowhere near good enough if we are serious about trying to win things, that the nub of it.

He is a good-looking lad, but I'm not sure that this is the right platform for revealing the more unusual contents of your wankbank!

He's not good enough. If we manage to sign another left back, i'd imagine we'd let him leave. Just not mobile enough.

He'd flourish over in Italy in my opinion. Game played at a slower pace, more emphasis on possession in defensive and midfield areas. Caters to him perfectly.

I am sure he will have an excellent rest-of-career, probably in Spain. His CV is now pretty good and his professionalism, as in the OP, is fantastic.

It was reported in Spain on 4th July that Wigan would sign him for £1.5M. Then again it was reported in Italy on 6th July that we have offered him to Lazio in the Kolarov deal. Earlier in the summer he was linked with either Real Santander or Atletic Bilbao, can't remember.

I have had similar thoughts, although we now have an embarrassment of riches down the left flank.
