No.

Explain !!

whilst I agree that forlan is a great player he's not really "one of the future" - he's also flopped in the prem before, can't see why it would be any different now

So you agree that he is a great player and I think he's made that clear to everyone in this WC. As for being one of the future, I don't know how far into the future you are looking but for me he will be a great asset for a season or 2.
As for him being a flop in the Prem, I really don't think that being a "flop" at the swamp disqulafies him. Was he really given a chance there ? In any case that's old history. Clearly he has matured and evolved into a complete player as evidenced by his performances in the the WC and in the Europe League.

We would have to adapt to suit Forlan. If it didn't work we'd be fucked. Can't see why we'd bother.

I agree with these sentiments - I'd rather we got someone like Dzeko in than forlan

agree with this. balotelli is a bit of a gamble, but Bobby knows him and presumably would be able to keep him in order.

Dzeko is the one for me.

Torres and Ibra i wouldn't like to see at City

Don't know if you 'need' four top rate strikers. Chelsea only have Drogba and Anelka who could vaguely be described as top rate. Red scum had Rooney backed up by an intermittently effective Berbatov an injury prone and dodgy Owen with kids. Arsenal had Van Persie then I would hardly call Eduardo or Bendtner top rate, Arshavin is good but not really a striker.

Most teams now play one up front a fair bit of the time and four top rate strikers could easily lead too disillusioned stars, I am happy with who we have. I reckon we need more central midfielders who can score and a better defence. We conceded fewer goals under Super Stu than last season.

You've listed 2 teams who really desperately needed more quality strikers there tbf mate & possibly missed out on several trophies through not having them.

It's a big argument in favour of having more strikers!

definitely mate, to compare them to the striker rich, inter milan, real madrid and barcelona is madness - nowhere near as successful recently

I think this is the best bet and the most probable. I dont fancy helpin Liverpool out by handing them £100,000,000 for a guy that is always injured. Dzeko knows where the net is and Balotelli would be great to have as a youngster who we can bring into the side on occasion, who wont get too pissed off that he isnt starting every game..
