So did loads of people? You don't like him, fair enough but if that makes him "less of a blue" then there are quite a lot of our fellow City fans who were at Wembley that day who should also be downgraded.

Me included...I was halfway out of the door when Dickov scored

Quitter.

Could anyone have predicted that though...there was a few thousand with me who were of the same opinion ;-)

All i'm saying is that his heart is in the right place and outside of the rock megastar status, he is just one of us.

I was just browsing the site and noticed comments by others such as 'full of shit' and 'media whore' and just thought I would let you know that is not the bloke that I chatted to throughout the Spuds game. He certainly changed my impression of him.

The Noel Gallagher that I saw was a knowledgeable blue going through the ringer! To all intensive purposes, he was no different to IBH, Ant London, Blueishgreen or indeed any one else on here.

Personally I've got time for Noel. You can call him all you want but he is exactly like loads of people I know in Manchester would be if they were in his shoes. I've seen him just in the concourse having a beer at half time at loads of shitty away matches, cold wet nights in Reading and the like and he's never seemed like he loves himself anymore than I do myself.

He's not everyone's cup of tea but I find him really quite likeable and funny. And even before Lytham's comments I had no doubt whatsoever that he was as big a blue as any on here. Nonsense to suggest otherwise

Bloke behind me managed who get back in; looked like an evil clown because his face paint had run all over the shop when he was outside, drunk, crying. A policeman told him we'd scored.

He basically said that Gary cook told him that city were going to be involved with some transfers, both incoming and outgoing, where they are going to and where they are coming from over the next month that will "blow your mind".

Any correlation with Messi saying that he loves Oasis?

And I was one of them....anyone calls me less of a blue gets a fucking smack in the mouth. (it would have to be a cyber smack for now though).

MEN report of what Noel said..

If what cook was outlining to him has any solidity to it, then i think i am going to give up looking at the b*ll*x for now and just wait for all this to happen.
Lets hope cook hadn't had a glass too many of SA. chardonnay and was just trying to show off to noel.

I left that day through being hearbroken and could not bare the thought of seeing the Gills players and fans celerbrate. Anyway we all know what happend next and i have never left a game before the end again. Leaving that day does not make me any less of a blue then you and i would bet my house on it...!!!

i love this "i'm more of a blue" one-upmanship on a fucking internet forum where no-one has a clue who you are.

Just changing the thrust a little - I heard a repeat of that talkshite interview and far far too much is being made of it.

It could simply have been Cook writing down the 'known' 24 man squad - no new names and that is what NG is 'wowing' about - it is pretty impressive - everyone is totally overreacting about nothing IMO
