Would go for this Ibrahimovic is proven quality and Mancini already knows how to get the best out of him.Hes not my favourite player but he knows where the back of the net is thats for sure.We could do with an out and out striker far more than we could do with Robinho as we have far more reliable options in Bellamy and now Silva.

Hes put himself in a position where i feel very few big clubs will be willing to take a gamble on him as questions marks will always hang on his attitude and commitment at club level.
Anyway what is his market value even at now, far less than we shelled out on him thats for sure.Getting 20 million would be the best we could hope to do in my opinion.I think if their was money in the Italian league(bar inter) some clubs might show an interest but i just feel hes out of their price range at present. The only rumblings are coming from Turkey and i doubt that will cater for his ego.Santos may want him but thats a no go financially.

I just feel we may get rode again and see him try force another loan, i would hate to see him do this to us again it really is taking the piss after investing so much in a player to get that in return.I hope city dont let that happen again so wipeing our hands clean of him and getting Ibrahimovic in return would be great business if possible.

This story was in the Spanish press a few days ago and was put in our transfer speculation thread, so all this mate did was read the paper, although Sport.es does have a bit of an in-line to Barca.

This sort of deal is not impossible. In favour are the facts that Barca have signed Villa and everyone now knows they haven't a cent to scratch their arse with.

Against are the facts that Guardiola has to be persuaded about Robinho, the very complicated nature of both players' deals and contracts and add-ons, and the fact that Barca pay him 250 grand a week. That is stretching it even by our standards.

But if Mancini wants him we will do it. Still think Torres is choice number one though, like my mate Noel!

Strange how everyone's got this idea Noel said we're getting Torres. He actually said "I don't think Torres or Gerrard would get in" which suggests neither were on the list.

I hate to say it but I would still love to watch that horrible, two faced, little twat Robinho at his best for City, I just can't help it, but it's not very likely it'll happen is it? Therefore a swap with Ibra would be great I think. If any accountant types were to work it out, I would imagine Robbies actual value in the books now should be a lot less than when we signed him, so the deal is probably about right, or even in our favour.

I sorta had my heart set on Dzeko - I think him and Tevez would tear shit up - Ibra is a great player though, but will he hack the fast pace of the prem ?

I think Ibrahimovic is very well suited to the premier league, personalitywise he's not that much of an improvement to Robbie though. I think Robbie is done as a City player, so if this is the only way to recoup some value, I guess I'm for it

i absolutely HATE Ibra,...and i should hate Robbie by now but i've still got a soft spot for him,...on the other hand looking at what is best for City i think it would be good business, i do think Ibra would cut it in the Prem, and although i still dream of Robson returning and stealing the show week in week out i just don't believe it will happen,..he's had his chance(s) ant fucked up, now he should fuck off.
would be sad(ish) to see Robbie leave but it needs to be done. Get over here Ibra and show me i was wrong in thinking you are an overrated moaning arrogant ugly bignosed cheating bastard.

I hate sulky, lazy inconsistent, period-ridden players, Robinho being one but I think Ibra is in a similar mould, undoubted class but only when he feels like it. Id rather someone with pure passion and desire who works their arms off!

I seriously doubt he'll be anywhere near as prolific in the Prem, and can see him wanting out after 4-5 months. That's potentially close to 50 million blown in a transfer saga involving 2 unhappy and unloyal players.
