Easy target to take a pop at.

He wasn’t playing for his club side. I never heard him say I must go to the world cup.

He certainly did not ask to be put on when you need 3 goals as in ten minutes.

He was one of England’s better players at the world cup. Against the USA I thought he was excellent.

It’s not his fault three highly rated managers continued to pick him.
