Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Although I can appreciate it isnt easy to create the fixture list, I am pissed off that we are never at home for first or last game of the season and them cunts are!
I was told once though that the champions always get a home game first up against the winners of the first division. What pisses me off, is that didnt happen this season.
Spuds v City
Liverfool v The arse
Chavski v WBA
Rags v Newtashes
It maybe difficult, but that is a fuckin farce

I've read similar article before and that was excellent read again.
What do people think of the idea of Boxing day being sort of a Derby day? Ie we'd play our derby on boxing day and so would most other clubs. That idea was coined around some years ago but nothing has been heard since.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Despite all this, we and every other team play everyone twice- once at home and once away.

It should have some kind of rotation system, 1 year away 1 year at home, how hard can it be? Its fucking bollocks.
It is not hard - it is easy - in a fair-handed world where there is bias shown

That is all well and fair - but in the modern game with all the demands of pre-season it - is nice to have a gentle start
Also - since the 'observer' from the scum has been looking on - for a certain 'top' team who might be competing for FA Cup / CL final - it is also nice to have a few gentle home fixtures at the end - yes it does help them - and intentionally so

It DOES make a difference to get an easy start, remove the tension etc and it's an absolute scandal that both these clubs ALWAYS get an easy home game. I believe the Champions always start at home, but there the rule ends. Doesn't say they have to play useless teams, or that the runners-up do too!

Reigning champions always get a home game first game of the next season. Thats why the smellies have been at home and we've been away for the last few years, although this season should have been different.
