Quagliarella.

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Quagliarella.

Postby Blue Blood » Sat Aug 28, 2010 3:28 pm

Signed for Juve.

http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528, ... 41,00.html

Now while i still expect us to beat Juve home and away in the europa, them signing Quagliarella will make our job 10x harder. Juve lacked a quality forward but now have found one in Quagliarella, we are gonna have to be on our toes to stop him.

One thing is for sure though, both ties will be a cracking watch! Can't wait!

Scored the best goal of the WC imo.

Juve are improving, Bonucci & Motta will be good additions to the back four this season. Everyone knows how good Chiellini & Grosso are. They've the best keeper around too, imo.

They really struggle in midfield though, hopefully we can overrun them.

Quagliarella is a good striker but nothing more than this! He's for me a very over-rated player and even acutal old Del Piero is better than him, absolutely!
From Torino, Italia to Manchester, Lancashire this City is always our City!

There simply isn't such a thing as a top-class Italian striker. They're extinct. This guy is average, and yet is probably Italy's most dangerous striker.

Well, Buffon should be fit only on next 2011 and he won't play for sure against us! But Storari is for me the best Italian keeper of this moment, and so ...
Grosso is definitively out of the squad and probably will go to Spain in the next days.
De Ceglie is replacing him but in my own opinion nor he neither Marco Motta are strong defenders!

Fingers crossed, mate! Hope so even if Mino Rajola, the same agent of Balotelli, is making Barca's board crazy for his incredible requests before sign Rossoneri!

Haha yeah completely forgot he's Italian!
Just trying to remember when Italy last had a world-class striker. Probably Del Piero, and he's 93!

I would have been worried about him in the away leg but I've just noticed the away leg v Juve is the last game. If the group goes to plan for both teams, that will be a meaningless tie as they'll both be expecting to have qualified beforehand. That's a pity because they'll play weakened teams but I suppose it would give some players the chance to get experience. At least the home game should be a humdinger.

Your point about it being a meaningless game probably has some validity but personally I would hope and I like to think that the players will have enough proffessoinal pride in their performance to put on the best show they can.

I recon if it's a dead game, Mancini will throw all the kids in so I don't think pride will be a problem, just experience & organisation.

Fuck Quadraphenia and his little Notts County wannabees.

There fans are looking at our squad and see Tevez, Balloteli, Adebayor, Silva, Yaya, Milner. After the game they will then also know all about Hart, Adam Johnson, SWP, Koralov and EVEN FUCKING JO.

I want us to rip the fuckers apart and show Europe just who the fuck we are. No more pussying about im proper fucking up for the Juve games like no other game than a Derby, or that fucking Spurs game last season, oh and Hamburg at home.
