as we dont have anyone else i dont see what dif it makes to have Jo there.. big phil could have stayed instead i guess. Bob's choice.
That said if Jo flicks in a crucial winner in the Europa when we need it, then this argument will be redundant and we will all be glad he was there. IF like.

Exactly. The way I see it we now have 3 dependable strikers: Carlos, Ade and Mario. Santa and Jo will be used sparely when and if needed and with the amount of games we are liable to play (provided we progress well in the Cup competitions), I think we'll see a lot of action from all 5.
In the end, its funny how we just managed to make the required 25 with MJ thrown in to make up the numbers. I doubt we'll see him in action before January from what we've been hearing.

This isn't the European squad though.

If, as i suspect the answer to your question is yes, then we need to find out why mate. This is a fuclin major City site and evidence of that is the fact that he started to post on here and communicate with us.

This is quite a big issue in my oppinion and we should be proactive to find out what the score is.

Is it? There was a great team spirit last Monday. We surely want that to grow rather than see stuff in the paper every five minutes. Don't get me wrong Bellers is a great player, but his addition could have been detrimental in the long run.

As for jo.... He's the only Brazillian left. Maybe he wasn't the shit stirrer amongst them?

He knows we are still here. If you want to talk to him directly he runs the City Facebook and Twitter pages. Send him a message there.

He's probably viewed without logging in.

Has anyone seen much of Logan recently? I know he got a pretty full season in for Tranmere. Someone seems to rate him obviously as he's effectively taken the place of Spanish Gaz. Has he improved a lot?

(Or perhaps it's just another missed transfer target fuck up like us ending up with RSC & Jo rather than Bellamy?)

Anyone seen some of the other squads that have been registered? Just seen on SSN and a quite a few of the other clubs, including the top clubs, have not put out a full 25. I think Chelsea only had 19 but are allowed to bring more players in on a free as long as they are within the criteria. Seems a bit backwards that you'd have to name them now yet still allow players in after the cut off date; but I suppose the vdV deal has just put payed to the rules system!

Don't seem to be many people in the media going on & on & on & on asking how the rags or Spurs are going to keep all their players happy or why Arsenal have no English players in their senior squad.

Wonder why?

You mean as a back-up left back if Kolarov, Bridge, Lescott, Barry and the tea lady are injured?

Well I suppose he'd be more back up for Richards, Boateng & Zabba tbf but it's still a fullback out for a fullback in. We have Trippier in the U21 group & I can't see why Logan's there unless they rate him. We don't have to fill the squad, it's ok to leave a gap.

So Logan is right footed? Well, we do have slightly less cover there... But I do agree with you. they must see something in him, otherwise there's no point in including him in the squad.

true but Trippier (and the other potential fullback contenders) are all still U21 so no need for them to be named.

I don't really see the point in including Logan but don't really see any harm in it either

Wel only that it's being suggested on another thread that he wanted to go elsewhere & play football.

Logan is contracted until 2011, wouldn't have been much point in loaning him for a year when his contract was about to expire so it was extended. linky

We have to fill our squad if we have the players on the books.
