Or our 3 time Seria A winning manager who see's him everyday might just see something in him and has repaid him with a goal and an assist tonight which will do his confidence a world of good.
We should be supporting players like Jo, not criticising every mistake he makes so they can tell everyone how right they are that Jo is shit.
Jo is a decent player, good ability, short on self confidence. Don't think he will be our main striker in years to come and yes he was only playing tonight because of injuries to other players but he is a useful squad player for games like tonight.
Admittedly he has struggled and his attitude was poor when he first came but i see a player with a much improved attitude who is trying his hardest to be a player here and i admire him for that, think we may see a different Jo with confidence. His first few games for us were impressive.
Fair enough, we seem to be singing from the same hymn sheet. I have to say, I was also one this summer who said I hoped he would get a chance, and he is getting that now - he doesn't seem to have grabbed it with both hands, but lets see.
I didn't watch most of the game tonight, so cannot comment on his performance. Similarly, I don't think the time he had on the pitch vs Blackburn was enough to form an opinion. I want him to succeed, but I am extremely dubious, Mancini was on the losing end of the same game we wanked over on youtube which was a reason for excitement and has mentioned the very same game which seems to have earned Jo a 17m tag
That game was 3 years ago though
