The quality of Boatengs delivery will be crucial especially if we ever have to rely on (gawd help us!) Crocky and Jo - Boateng supplying Dzeko eg , is something that would give us another real and different type of threat

You'll see a different city when Balotelli is fit and ANother is up there, with Silva, Johnson and Yaya providing the ammo.

Undoubtedly.. but that will be another 4- 5 weeks away, meantime Adebayor could be making a claim to be one of our best players and give Bobby something to think about even when Mario does return. We could be seeing a different City right now if he would just see fit to pull his finger out.

If we start putting genuine quality into the box, not just strikers but midfield players will have an incentive to 'gamble' & make runs, both near post & far post, on the offchance of getting a header/tap in. When the only ball that comes in either hits the 1st defender or sails over everyone's heads there's very little reward for going in there, you just end up out of position in front of the ball for no reason. Rags score more than half their goals through people just taking a chance & going into the box because they know there's a decent chance of meeting the ball there. Then there's all the panic/2nd ball/rebounds/missed clearences that creates, which also leads to lots of their goals, as we've seen sickeningly many many times over the years.

If someone would have gambled far post on Saturday we may have scored 2 more as twice the cross that came beat everyone at the back stick if Dedryk for instance on one occasion would have gambled i think we would have scored.

These are the goals the rags are conceding now Ted. (big smile on face)
