The guy is pure class, he reads the game so well and often covers other areas of the defence, how he finds time to go forward occasionally too is beyond me!

He must be a pleasure to play alongside.

It suprises me when people ever doubted him. His class was plain to see on his debut. He picked up injuries and when De-Jong came along, he took up Vinnies position.

Now he is where he plays for his country too - which makes sense - and has got plenty of games under his belt, thankfully most of them with Toure and Hart behind them.

Just need the fullbacks to settle and we will have the best defence in the league
