Every time I see that the thought occurs that both teams played really responsibly and kept the game going. All it would take would be for some nutter to start charging in and a few careers could have ended prematurely. What a class team that was.

My dad was there. He went into a pub in Didsbury after and pronounced to the barman, 'I've just seen the Champions'. And he was proved right. That pub where the road forks, near the cinema complex, The Gateway as it is called now.

Thanks for posting Lee. I've seen it before, but it's such a great watch. Makes me nostalgic of a time I never experienced, if that's at all possible.

There too, as a 12 year old, sitting in the Platt Lane Stand with my Dad, so had a great view of City's second half goals. Despite being enthralled by the game itself, I don't think I fully realised how good we were that day until I heard KW's commentary on MoTD in the evening.
