Exactly. I've done it the last two years and went nuts for both Bellamys goals without getting any stick. There were plenty of blues about doing the same thing. They gave us plenty when that little shit scored at the end though :(

No I will be paying for the whole trip and I think I can get to next seasons home derby for cheaper. I would just need a flight and match tickets as the family live in the UK.

Think i am going to take the risk and pass this one up in favour of going to Dublin in May. Like you said i can get the whole package cheaper for a home derby which would be more enjoyable.

Done it a quite few times. Worst one was when they were in the 2nd div & they fucking beat us in a League Cup game with yet another diabolical penalty decision. We were diabolical as well that night tbf. Think we won all the others though if I remember correctly. Some priceless rag comments. It was pretty good being in the raggy area when we won.

Was in the U****d rd. paddock for Denis Law's back heel. Had to chew my right arm off to stop me cheering and laughing. I'll never do it again you can't enjoy the game in the same way.

Have done it a couple of times and it isnt easy.

In 1990 I was in the Stretford End seats when Ian Brightwell spanked in that beauty for a 1-1 draw, and was also in the Stretford Paddock a couple of years later when Neil Pointon got sent off and Keith Curle's pen got us a daw - David White missed a sitter to win it that night too. For Blues with memories, there was a big pack of about 100 Blues at the bottom of that paddock (nr the corner flag) and when Curle scored I moved down and jumped into the pack of Blues through the stewards for the final 15 mins or so.

What does happen when you've sat/stood with their pondlife, is that it totally reinforces why you hate them so much as they are such an abhorrent club followed by every out of town thicko or bandwagon jumper in the book.

I did the same in the late seventies all of my mates were rags and I hated every minute of it.

March 22nd 1986 - was stood in the U****d Rd paddock when we drew 2-2. Arthur Albiston scored an og to equalise for us! Superb!

Borrowed a season ticket from a lad at work and went on a coach full of scum from Preston. On the way back I got accused of stealing the whip for the driver! Scum bastards!

I sat in the stretford end when it was being converted to all-seater. There was no roof on it and it was pissing it down. They gave out disposable plastic macs but they had the scum crest on so me and my mate refused to wear them and got soaked instead.

Several people asked us why we didn't wear our macs and seemed quite irked when we told them there was no way we would ever wear anything with that fucking horrible badge on it.

I was in the rag end for the 'shamelessly self-indulgent lying munich game....." - and have been in the 'home' end on many occasions at the swamp and many other grounds.

Just depends on what tickets you can get hold of and I am always amazed at just how many CITY fans there are in the home ends - which becomes obvious when CITY score - which happily now is a more common occurence!!

Re the munich game - just surprised I survived being thrown out by stewards because I (and several others) no matter how hard I tried could not sit down and keep quiet - especially for the 1st goal that seemed to happen in installments
