His weak charging of the ball carrier and turning his back was exactly what Kolo did for the second, it was annoying to see the same mistake twice so soon after one another.

not as bad as Kompany taking off like a scalded cat in the opposite direction from Cahill

For those who are saying he is not a great defender, well how do we know? He's not even played 10 games for us yet and we all know it takes a bit of time to adapt and overcome. Balotelli's in that same bracket, and Boateng too for that matter, so I think I'll at least give them the season before I start judging them on their football.

For now though, they're all doing alright, especially for such young players in a new country and new team.

I hope he starts to defend a hell of a lot better than he has been and if he isn't intending to take every single free kick and shots from silly distances then i think he become a very good part of the Blue Revolution as time goes on.

Taking shots was exactly what we needed on Monday night, though. Everton crowded the penalty area. Kolarov got two good chances, and had two decent attempts. This forced Everton to move a man up to cover him, thus opening their defence up. Personally I think we should shoot from distance more often. It's not only about scoring, it's about being less predictable and making the opposition having to cover for more possible ways of attack than only by passing it all the way over the line.

That last goal was fantastic, the defender was trying to beast him and ended up flat on his arse. Great strength.

Very far from his best conditions! Don't believe how I'm disappointed looking at his performances!
From Torino, Italia to Manchester, Lancashire this City is always our City!
