Training Wednesday 29/12

Postby Douglas Higginbottom » Wed Dec 29, 2010 1:23 pm

I needed exercise today so went for a walk and could you believe it ended at Carrington. None of yesterday's starters on show but Bridge and Jo of the subs were out and did a full stint. Overall a quiet low key session as you would expect with so much football being played.

Good to see SWP back after his knock the other day and also Kolo in full training so probably in contention for BPool game.Ade also involved fully. The player who caught my eye today was Jo. Scored quite a few mostly because he was in the right place at the right time but one or two were decent finishes. Kolarov was out but didnt take part in the game they played but instead just did some running work with a physio.

Just an hour today and at the end SWP stayed for some shooting practice. Boateng stayed for a short while but that seemed to be more so that he could smash a few shots as hard as he could to get some frustration energy out of his system.

Thanks Doug.

On a side note, what's going to happen to you when/if they move from Carrington? I presume this may bugger up your spying activities.

Maybe but it did look like he meant business. The main 2 he was up against at the back were Boyata and Boateng.

Still not convinced by Jo on matchdays but i'm willing to give him a little longer. It's reasuring to hear that he's prepared to put the hours in in training and put himself in contention for a place, wish some of the others had the same attitude.

Thanks again Doug.
