Good job getting it done today lads...you made my stomach churn, but all three points were required and achieved.

Some of the lads looked a bit leggy which is worrying with Arsenal coming up. We'll need to be much tighter in the tackle on Wednesday. Still we could and should have been two up on countless occasions, not least with the penalty and when Carlos rounded the keeper and then lost his footing.

41 points and we should be safe from relegation. Whew!

Just as it was great to have an easy win against Villa it is nice to have come through this with 3 points and a clean sheet.

I have no doubt Mancini will talk about tiredness and that BPool havent played as much but I am not so sure.Overall I think City deserved to win but maybe BPool deserved a point. Can you have both at the same time? Nigel good again , so were Vinnie and Lescott. I actually thought Tevez was good in everything except the finish. I know that's what he is paid for but it was one of those days.

I have one over riding hope now and that's Silva not being badly injured. I fear a ligament problem.

Three fucking points against a brilliant squad, may be we'd have won 4 or 5 nil if Carlitos hadn't failed so badly that penalty!

kinell we made heavy weather of that! 3pts and still in there is good though.

have to say that Tevez pissed me off a bit there.. just refused to pass it when others were around. Its a team game Carlos and just because you missed some clear chances and the sitter from the spot is no excuse for trying t win it on your own while your teammates stand watching.

You are very probably right there, Dough Sir, because that is one of his duty. You can also rest assured that - inside the dressing room - he will make plainly clear that if we have to be contender for anything, we must start to score the easy chances and make the right, easier choices until we are not ahead by 2 goals. that - first of all - include to pass the fucking ball to Silva, when he is in the easiest position to score, FFS!
Then as usually happens, the whole family shall carry - even - the job to assist the most gifted Lad to sparkle (i.e. to win the golden boot). Before ALL THE LAD must stay focused for 95 minutes every game, for the MCFC sake only.

Once underlined this simple fact - a bad day at the office may happen to any world beater - and I really do hope that Carlos Tevez only happened to meet the "Escorts' broker" of Shrek.

we should have - at least - 7 more points on the table and we do not have the likes of Ireland and Onuoha anymore. We only have top professionals , who earn loads of money to play the best game ever invented for one of the most respected Club of the world, in a very nice town, which has plenty to offer to rich men, surrounded by the love of hundred thousands fans.

NY's rant over.

Fuck of Rio Ferdinand, Nani and the Teletubbies twunt, btw.

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

Unbelievable game. We should have had the match wrapped in the first half with the chances Tevez had and the missed penalty. I counted 6 good scoring chances for Tevez today and it just boggles the mind that he didn't score any of them (got me 0 points as my Fantasy Lg captain !!!). Anyway job done, 3 points in the bag and let's go on now and beat Arse (we need to take revenge on the home loss).

i translated this shit into Italian so that maybe you could see how fucking amazing you are. You are welcome.

I think it's Vic looking more like Platt, he's catching up in the Fat-Face stakes.

Poor ol Vic. Someone should tell him he needs to sort himself out.

Good win today because we made so many mistakes, had two nightmare fullbacks & a striker who couldn't hit a barn door, against a side who were really up for it, yet we still won & deserved to on chances created. Lescott & Vinny did brilliantly to hold it together in between Stan & Ollie.

Blackpool played great football but they've been incredibly stuffy at the back & could have let in 15 goals in the last two games. We all know when their luck will run out though unfortunately, don't we?
