I wonder if we have had anything to do with it, pricing players beyond even their reach and reducing the impact they used to have on the market?

I also wonder how many of their "I've supported Chelsea since the 60s" supporters will hang about.... Prepare for an influx of cockney blues!

Maybe they'll be back down to the 12,672 average of 1983?

Or perhaps the top flight average of 18,754 in 1993?
