Fifth wheels, deadwood etc

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Fifth wheels, deadwood etc

How do we actually cut our losses on some of the players we have signed that are now hardly even regarded as squad players.

Some of the players on the periphary of the squad are on astronomic wages and i can't imagine many of these players will earn even half of what they are on at other clubs.

We could possibly end up with players sitting out contracts if greed comes into the equation and players are happy to just keep collecting rather than playing football.

Players such as RSC, Adebayor, Bridge and sadly to say swp spring to mind.

Hopefully we can move on at least 3 such players but i just have this feeling that we will get stung in these deals no matter what.
It really seems clubs will only be inclined to approach city regarding loan moves as they just cant afford to match wage demands.

I have no problem with eating some part of their transfer fees, but if these clubs want us to loan them these
players for a period of time, pay part of the fee and take them back; we might as well just take it up the ass as
they put sugar in our gas tank!
