To the uplifting tune of Macharena...

He comes from Italy and his name is Balotelli

and when he score's a goal he's always on the tele

He never fuckin smiles coz he thinks the rags are smelly, ohhhhh Balotelli

Peace

It's a play on the Boro chant 15 years back ( Ravanelli shows us his belly etc ) as that's what he did when he scored...

The tune works very well. The lyrics are a bit gash. This being an open forum, a decent version could be knocked together by committe. The 'ehhhhhh Balotelli -¡ay!' ending would sound quality.

I did say "a bit" gash. That's better than "a lot shit" or even "pretty wank". The idea has potential - I like it.

I think its high time a "he comes from italy, to play for man city" song was sung.

Thats never been done before right?

And as for rhymes with Balotelli, easiest one to work in would 'telly' (as in 'on the' rather than 'Savalas'). Loads of connotations possible with TV.

Smelly looks good on paper, but you can't get away with expecting a horde of rampant eager swearers to sing the word 'smelly'. I got some funny looks for including the word 'turds' in a song against Blackpool, but a good few hundred went with it.
